Bulgarian Information Consortium - In the end of 2002 year the Bulgarian Information Consortium (BIC) has been established as a libraries coalition as a result of successful OSI project funding of the New Bulgarian University Library supported by three other libraries – Technical University -Sofia, Economic Academy – Svishtov and American University in Bulgaria – Blagoevgrad. The mission statement of the Bulgarian Information Consortium is to provide the best information resources at the best possible price to Bulgarian users, applying high professional selection criteria and offering the best services.
